Students know and understand the objectives, principles, methods and tools of classic organizational lean management, digital shop floor management, which is made possible based on Industry 4.0 / 5.0 technologies, as well as sustainability management. They apply this knowledge and gain their own experience in case study experiments, e.g. to optimize manual, semi-automated and fully automated manufacturing, assembly and quality inspection workstations and to optimize the interlinking of these workstations using Industry 4.0 / 5.0 technologies, such as robots and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the “Digital Lean Learning Factory Laboratory”.
