The Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) specialisation option was offered 2007-2015. This specialisation focused on the global management of business support functions and was embedded strongly into practice through case studies and many company visits.

In total, 131 students passed the BPO specialisation.

Due to the programme's increasing orientation toward students with prior engineering degrees, the BPO specialisation was replaced by the more technically oriented Global Procurement option.
